Welcome!

I am so thrilled that you have found my page! Let me start by telling you a little about me. I am a mum of two energetic and very vibrant boys and married to a lovely Ophthalmologist - Lenses are taken seriously in our family! Originally from London, we live in the beautiful City of York. I have a bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in film, and have undergone many different courses in photography.

I have had the pleasure of experiencing various mediums - from editing wedding photos to being the managing editor of a travel & culture magazine; to various arena’s in film and being involved in social media marketing. My business is based on my deep desire to explore creativity and spark inspiration. I strive to create elegant images that remain timeless.

As far as I can remember I have always loved photography and I have always walked camera in hand! I believe it to be a universal language and as such an amazing way to connect with others. I am a firm believer in individuality and believe that every person is unique and should celebrate every moment of this thing called life!

I remember staying behind after college for the photography club, where I developed my pictures in the dark room (one of which you can find below). I distinctly remember the smell of the chemicals whilst hanging up my pictures to dry! I would often badger my friends to be my models.

Photography is more than an art form. It is a way to capture life in all its beauty, vicaciousness, and raw truth. It is meant to bring to life your much-loved memories, ones that will last many a lifetime. Portraits to look back upon in many a years to come.

I aim to bring all my experience, passion and vision to my clients who are equally and uniquely a tapestry of beauty and dynamism. And it will be an honour and a privelege to share these moments together with you.

About me

A young woman with blonde hair sitting on a staircase inside a house, smiling at the camera. The staircase has a wooden handrail and decorative black iron railing. There are two large flower pots with plants on the top of the stairs behind her. The photo is black and white.

One of my first photos made in the dark room in 1999 for Photography club.
