My passion for photography began in childhood, where I was mesmerized by how my mother used her camera to capture life’s most meaningful moments — often with me as her subject. At just 12 years old, I declared my dream of becoming a photographer on my speech for careers day - a vision that has only grown stronger over time. Years later, stepping into a darkroom deepened my love for this art form. It wasn’t just the magic of an image emerging before my eyes that drew me in, but the incredible experience of seeing a moment come to life — a perfect blend of creativity and emotion.

Today, I’m a portrait and personal branding photographer based in York, UK. My work is deeply rooted in storytelling — capturing the quiet confidence, raw emotion, and effortless grace that exist in each of us.
With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Cultural Studies and a Master’s in Film, I bring both a studied understanding of people and a cinematic eye to every session. This unique perspective allows me to create images that are not just beautiful — but honest, powerful, and full of feeling. Many of my clients have said that being photographed by me feels calming, empowering, and even therapeutic. I take on the role of director for their story, ensuring their essence is captured authentically.
